The Dayton Northwest Weed and Seed is a five-year strategy to “weed” out crime and drug trafficking in our target area of College Hill, Cornell Heights, Dayton View Triangle, Princeton Heights, Southern Dayton View, University Row, and Wesleyan Hill neighborhoods in northwest Dayton - and then to “seed” that area with programs for youth, families, and seniors. We have lots of help from Federal, State and local agencies, private organizations, businesses, and community groups, and we are making a difference! In our current target area we became an official Weed and Seed site in February 2007, and our programming started in October 2007.
