While our target area is in serious distress, there are many resources within the community that are committed to its development; organizations such as Spirit of Peace Baptist Church, Spirit of Peace Community Development Corporation, Dayton Metropolitan Housing Authority, United Way, the House of Bread – all of whom provide access to social services for various location in and around the target area. In addition there are two schools within the target area including: Fairport/Cornell Elementary and Rosa Parks PreK–8 School.
