Target Area

The Dayton Northwest Weed and Seed target area (highlighted in RED) is made up of seven neighborhoods just north and west of downtown Dayton, Ohio (Princeton Heights, Cornell Heights, College Hill, Dayton View Triangle, University Row, plus ½ of Wesleyan Hill and Southern Dayton View neighborhoods). In addition, part of Dayton View History District is within the target area. This area contains approximately 12,185 residents and is bordered on the:

North by West Hillcrest Avenue, Wesleyan Road and Kings Highway

  • West by North Gettysburg Avenue
  • South by Wolf Creek River, Rosedale Avenue, Oxford Avenue
  • East by Salem Avenue

It includes the complete 2004 and 2006 census tracks along with partial census tracks 2003, 2005, and 2007.
